Environmental Science and Engineering Seminar

The Ecology and Biosphere Engineering Facility (EBEF) is a new Caltech campus resource that will be in the Resnick Sustainability Center. The EBEF supports experiments that require environmental control, integrated sensing, genetic manipulation, imaging, and more. Here, I will outline the vision and future plans for the EBEF, as well as technical capabilities that can benefit research groups across campus. I will also highlight ongoing projects to illustrate how harnessing the power of microorganisms can lead to a more sustainable future.
